Motherwort Capsules

Each jar contains 100 capsules of dried, powdered motherwort.

Dr. Shook in his Elementary treatise in Herbology states: “Apart from being a master heart remedy, this Herb is one of the best emmenagogues in the whole of nature. It is diaphoretic, anti-spasmodic, tonic, nervine, and probably the best general heart tonic known. It’s special indications are, weak and nervous heart, palpitations, endocarditis, pericarditis, intermittent pulse, spasms, fits, epilepsy, St Vitus Dance, low fevers, influenza, colds, chills, etc.”

Dr. Christophers School of Natural Healing states: “Medicinal uses: Nervous irritability, amenorrhea, dysmenorrheal, uterine atony, vaginitis, heart troubles (weak and nervous heart, palpitation, endocarditis, intermittent pulse, etc.) spasms, fits, epilepsy, chorea, low fevers, influenza, colds, chills, indigestion, nerve exhaustion, hysteria, delirium tremens, fainting, neuralgia, spinal disease, pulmonary congestion, liver affections, suppressed urine, cramps, convulsions, painful joints, etc.”

Dr Shook also says, “there is no danger of febrile excitement. Motherwort calms and supports the heart and nerves, and is therefore, not in the least harmful, even when taken in large doses.” “In order to convince the student of the great value of this marvelous Herb in all cases of heart
trouble, we present the following important facts: Sir Lauder Brunton, one of England’s most famous medical scientists, some years ago, statedbefore the British Medical Association that calcium chloride is a great heart nutrient. He particularly pointed out that heart failure, from
post-influenza, pneumonia, may be averted by the extended use of calcium chloride. Many other reports have some to light supporting the above statement and proving the great food value of Herbs containing calcium chloride. Motherwort contains an abundance of it.”
